We have been worshipping in Cahors since 1964. Our congregation started with home-meetings and has met over the years in two Roman Catholic chapels. We now worship in the chapel of the Roman Catholic Centre Paroissial in Terre Rouge every Sunday morning at 10.00. We attract an average congregation of 40 or more, some members travelling 60 kms to be with us on Sundays. Services on the major festivals are well-attended, our Christmas Carol services being especially popular.
Members contribute to our worship by helping to lead services, reading, and serving refreshments. Bring and Share lunches, for example after the local AGM in February/March and after pre-Lent and Harvest Festival services, are regular features on the calendar. There are also several Home Groups active in offering fellowship and building connections, and we hope to establish groups in other areas.
Under the leadership of the Revd June Hutchinson, Assistant Chaplain for the Chaplaincy, our church continues to develop, with growing participation in social activities within the wider community. This is a great place to live, and our worship and fellowship really add to the experience.

The Collect is:
who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning:
help us so to hear them,
to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest them
that, through patience, and the comfort of your holy word,
we may embrace and for ever hold fast
the hope of everlasting life,
which you have given us in our Saviour Jesus Christ,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Over the last ten years or so, two home groups have been established in and around Cahors — Montaigu de Quercy, and Basse Vallée. Both meet weekly during Advent and Lent, and fortnightly during the remainder of the year. Numbers in the groups vary greatly over the year as visitors come and go, but six to eight at any meeting is a good average. All groups are flourishing, and give us the opportunity to explore our faith centred on a mix of Bible reading and other texts, in the company of others of like mind. The home-groups also provide a ready source of mutual help and support.
- Montaigu - meets on Thursday mornings at 10h00 - contact unfilled at the moment.
- Basse Vallée - meets on Wednesday afternoons at 14h30 - contact unfilled at the moment.
If you would like to discover more, then please do not hesitate to contact one of the groups. You can be sure of a very warm welcome!
We’d love to see you!
