We have been meeting in the Limoux area since 2004. Since March 2012, we have worshipped at L’Eglise Saint André, Alet les Bains (although in the winter we move to a warmer venue (please see below).
Our regular congregation is about 25 adults; for festivals and special occasions this increases. Our Carol Service in December attracts between 150 and 200 people. We welcome Christians of all denominations and ages. If you normally receive communion in your own church, you are welcome to receive communion with us.
Our Assistant Chaplain, Canon Tony Jewiss, or our Chaplain (or another priest in the Ministry Team) normally celebrates Holy Communion Common Worship twice a month on the first and third Sundays (although please check the diary below on this page as this can change). On the other Sundays our Lay Readers or Congregation Worship Leaders lead our worship. All members of the congregation are encouraged to participate in our worship, or serve coffee and light refreshments after services.
We welcome all who seek an English-speaking church, whether as a regular place of worship, a respite from the tourist trail, or a place to bring their special need.

Alet Church Mission Planning Day - 26th May 2019
On the 26th May, we will be holding a special all-day event to consider the shape of our future mission as a worshipping community.
The day will begin with a short service at 10h30, after which we will move to the Mediatheque next door to work together under the
guidance of a guest facilitator to develop a vision and plan for the future.
We will enjoy a bring-and-share lunch (some wine will be provided !) before resuming our deliberations.
The day is expected to end at about 15h00, with a short Communion Service, to be celebrated by Rev Canon Tony Jewiss which will start at about 14h30.
Whether you are a regular member of our congregation, an occasional visitor or planning to make a single visit that day, you are most welcome to join us and contribute to our thinking.
If you are coming, however, please bring your own 'couvert' (Knife, fork, spoon, plate, water and wine glasses). Please also bring a contribution to the Bring & Share Lunch (sucré or salé equally welcome)
Date For Your Diary - Sunday 2 June - Lunch and Film Show

The film will be shown with an English Soundtrack and French sub-titles.

Praying for each other
Prayer is an important part of our Christian lives; it unites us as a body. We do keep a book of prayer requests. If you have a prayer request for yourself or someone else and are unable to enter it into the book yourself please pass it on to Bob and he will either write it in the Prayer book and/or let the person leading intercessions know so they can include it.
Each Sunday we take up a collection of packets and tins of food for distribution by Secours Catholique in Quillan. Secours Catholique strives to meet the needs of the poor locally. Please remember them as you give generously.
Please send any copy for future notices by Wednesday in any given week to Aude Church Notices .
The Safeguarding Officer for Alet les Bains is Margaret Snow, for further information on the Chaplaincy Safeguarding Policy visit our Safeguarding page.
Follow the D118 south of Limoux for about 7kms. Turn left at the Alet les Bains sign and cross the bridge. Follow the road to the right – L’Eglise St. André is on the right side directly after passing the Abbey ruins. Parking is available on the Place des Platanes, the first large left turning after passing the Church. We resume worship in St.Andre on Sunday 31 March 2019.
For the final time this winter, on 24 March we will be meeting in the restaurant at Les Marguerites in Rue Nicolas Pavillon (see map above) and not in the Church. Continue up the road going past the turn to Place Des Platanes (but not taking it) towards the Casino. Les Marguerites is on the left after about 200m. There is a board outside to indicate that we are meeting there. There is plenty of on-street parking outside.
