We have been meeting in the Limoux area since 2004. Since March 2012, we worship at L’Eglise Saint André, Alet les Bains.
Our regular congregation is about 25 adults; for festivals and special occasions this increases. Our Carol Service in December attracts between 60 and 100 people. We are an all-age congregation.
The Assistant Chaplain, Canon Tony Jewiss, or another priest in the ministry team celebrates Holy Communion Common Worship twice a month on the first and third Sundays. On the other Sundays the Lay Readers or Congregation Worship Leaders conduct our worship. All members of the congregation are encouraged to participate, to read lessons, make music, share with the children, or serve coffee and light refreshments after services.
We welcome all who seek an English-speaking church, whether as a regular place of worship, respite from the tourist trail, or a place to bring their special need.

Sunday 25th February - 10h30 - Morning Prayer led by Clive & Linda Billenness
The Second Sunday of Lent
The Readings are:-
The Collect is:
you show to those who are in error the light of your truth,
that they may return to the way of righteousness:
grant to all those who are admitted
into the fellowship of Christ’s religion,
that they may reject those things
that are contrary to their profession,
and follow all such things as are agreeable to the same;
through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Sunday 4th March - 10h30 - Holy Communion celebrated by Canon Tony Jewiss & Revd Dan Langdon Griffiths
New Winter Quarters
For several years now we have struggled to worship during the winter in a large and unheated church. From 3rd. December 2017 (Advent Sunday) until Easter 2018 we will have access to a newly renovated and heated barn at Les Marguerites - a chambre d'hôte in Alet.
Praying for each other
Prayer is an important part of our Christian lives; it unites us as a body. We do keep a book of prayer requests. If you have a prayer request for yourself or someone else and are unable to enter it into the book yourself please pass it on to Bob and he will either write it in the Prayer book and/or let the person leading intercessions know so they can include it.
Each Sunday we take up a collection of packets and tins of food for distribution by Secours Catholique in Quillan. Secours Catholique strives to meet the needs of the poor locally. Please remember them as you give generously.
Please send any copy for future notices by Wednesday in any given week to Aude Church Notices .
The Safeguarding Officer for Alet les Bains is Margaret Snow on 04 68 49 43 47, for further information on the Chaplaincy Safeguarding Policy visit our Safeguarding page.
Follow the D118 south of Limoux for about 7kms. Turn left at the Alet les Bains sign and cross the bridge. Take the first right – L’Eglise St. André is on the right side after passing the Abbey ruins. Parking is available on the Place des Platanes, first left after passing the Church.
