Todays reading is from James 1:5-7 (NIV)
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
If we would like widsom from God, we have but to ask. The NLT says, "But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone." Recognize that you are asking for wisdom from the only source that can provide you with true wisdom. Any information or knowledge you would get from any another source can only be called "wisdom" if it lines up with who God is, and the truth of His Word. Approach God and ask for wisdom in faith, trusting that He alone has what you need.
